The next De-Trash the Wabash river cleanup will be held on
Saturday April 27 from 9am - noon.
De-Trash the Wabash is an event where volunteers help clean up the banks of the Wabash River and Wabash Heritage Trail. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and help take care of our local environment. This event unites both the young and the young at heart for a common goal: cleaner waterways. We will meet at the Riverside Skate Center in Tapawingo Park, and there will be free parking in the parking garage across from the skate center. As a reminder, volunteers should wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy closed-toe shoes, and volunteers should also bring a water bottle. Everyone is invited, please tell your friends! We will provide free pizza at noon!
